Here's how our courses work:

The maximum number of folk on the week is eight. I prefer not to work with more than five at a time. So, depending on the numbers and the relative skill levels, there may be either one or two three-hour skiing sessions in the day.
In this way it's possible to train for both on- and off-piste skiing, or to train for different levels of ability during the same week. The system has now been in operation for many years and works well. You get virtually personal tuition, and still have time to cement what you have learned, when not skiing with me. Group dynamics make this more effective believe it or not, than one-to-one coaching.
In the evenings you can attend short seminars on ski performance, sport psychology, and other related issues. And/or go to the bar! |

This week is programmed in as a week for OFF-PISTE TRAINING and experience. It is intended (subject to members' requirements) to perhaps include in this week, training in avalanche appreciation / use of tranceivers / etc., as well as technique training and off-piste trips, both near to the piste and also the real back country.We do need to know numbers EARLY so that the requisite infrastructure can be put in place, guides organised etc.
Guide costs will be involved because I am not allowed to take you back-country - and you'd perhaps be a fool to let me! |
